SRU Inline Hockey Playoffs

Tonight my inline team has our first playoff game againt Duquesne University. We beat them in the very first game of the season, way back in October. I think the score was 11 to 7. They beat us the second time we played them. I can't remember the score but I know we lost pretty bad. I am looking to get a win tonight and move on but if we lose I am fine with that too. I am tired of driving down to Pittsburgh every week for the games so if we lose none of us have to worry about that anymore. Hopefully we win though because I am not trying to get knocked out in the first round.

Weather

I think that I am pretty much ready for the weather to start getting nicer. I love winter because I ski and snowboard but since there's not enough snow for me to go do that I am most definitely ready for winter to be over. Sunday was the first nice day out and I went and played tennis and it felt great to be outside.

Roller Hockey Intramurals

Intramural roller hockey starts tomorrow, and my friends and I are looking forward to it. I am going to play goalie for my team since we couldn't find another goalie, so that means that were probably not going to do that well. I'm not terrible in goal but I'm certainly not good by any means because I don't ever really play it. I am sure that no matter how we do we are still going to have a lot of fun playing.

SRU Inline Hockey

This week the Slippery Rock Tier 2 Green team, which is my team, plays the Slippery Rock Tier 2 White team. This is the second time we get to play each other this year. The last game was a lot of fun. We are all pretty much friends with each other so you know that there won't be any dirty plays like slashing or anything like that. Even though it is a real regular season game we are looking forward to just playing each other and having fun, and could really care less who wins.

Bowling Tournament

Tonight a friend of mine from my inline hockey team is putting on a bowling tournement over at slippery rock lanes. It costs 10 bucks to enter and the winning team gets 200 bucks and the rest of the proceeds go the the Charlie Batch foundation. My buddies and I are looking forward to playing in it and hopefully winning. We are pretty avid bowlers and are hopefully gonna win the 200 bucks.

Can't wait for Break

I'm sure alot of other people are feeling this exact same way. I can't wait for spring break. I have 4 tests all in a row, on top of a bunch of other assignments, and have no time to study for all of them. I hate having everything all at the same time. Hopefully I can make it through the week without too much damage.

Rock Climbing

Last week in outdoor pursuits, we began our lesson on rock climbing. All this week and next week we are practicing on our belaying skills, and our knot tying abilities as well. I have never done anything with rock climbing before at all so every aspect of this is totally new to me. We are going to go down to the arc this upcoming Tuesday to actually test our skills on the climbing wall. I have never done anything on a climbing wall at all before either so I am looking forward to trying something different.
